is a four-book course which has been designed for preparatory and secondary
students.
·An extensive introduction
of literary elements introduce students to the core components of poetry such
as figurative language, simile, metaphor, personification and the different
form of poetry.
·Students are also
introduced to the different eras of poetry and are taught how to actively read
a poem using their critical thinking skills-asking questions, drawing
conclusive and reaching decisions through persuasive argument, demonstrating
credibility for their argument through the use of quotations and enhancing
their interaction with poetry and their overall experience.
